Almost half a year has gone by already! My little girl isn't so little anymore, she now weighs over 18lbs! She is huge! The funny thing is that she isn't fat by any means but just very tall and has huge chubby little thighs. Her personality is hilarious and she keeps us smiling all day long.
She finally started to sleep through the night about 2 weeks ago and I gotta say that it was time. I was exhausted from getting up two times a night at the least! I even got to the point that my doctor said that I was suffering from exhaustion and anxiety! Man it couldn't have come at at better time.
She is working daily on sitting up on her own and she loves to stand up. She can't do it on her own but wants to so badly. Everyone says that she is going to walk before she even learns to crawl. She got to have her first experience with fruits and loves them! She hits her high chair in excitement when she knows its coming. She has tried bananas and apple sauce so far and next is going to be some vegetables.
She loves to reach for her toys and today she even rolled over from her back to her tummy! She was reaching for the cat but at least it got her to roll! She is also getting better at spending time on her tummy. She would scream whenever we tried it and now is getting to the point where she will tolerate it for a few minutes at a time and even kicks her legs back and forth like she is trying to crawl but just can't quite get her legs underneath herself.
The doctors say that she isn't getting any teeth but she loves to chew/drool/suck on everything that she can get her mouth on! She makes this hilarious squeaking noise on her chewing toy, watch the video, so funny!
