5 Months!!!

Almost half a year has gone by already! My little girl isn't so little anymore, she now weighs over 18lbs! She is huge! The funny thing is that she isn't fat by any means but just very tall and has huge chubby little thighs. Her personality is hilarious and she keeps us smiling all day long. She finally started to sleep through the night about 2 weeks ago and I gotta say that it was time. I was exhausted from getting up two times a night at the least! I even got to the point that my doctor said that I was suffering from exhaustion and anxiety! Man it couldn't have come at at better time. She is working daily on sitting up on her own and she loves to stand up. She can't do it on her own but wants to so badly. Everyone says that she is going to walk before she even learns to crawl. She got to have her first experience with fruits and loves them! She hits her high chair in excitement when she knows its coming. She has tried bananas and apple sauce so far and next is going to be some vegetables. She loves to reach for her toys and today she even rolled over from her back to her tummy! She was reaching for the cat but at least it got her to roll! She is also getting better at spending time on her tummy. She would scream whenever we tried it and now is getting to the point where she will tolerate it for a few minutes at a time and even kicks her legs back and forth like she is trying to crawl but just can't quite get her legs underneath herself. The doctors say that she isn't getting any teeth but she loves to chew/drool/suck on everything that she can get her mouth on! She makes this hilarious squeaking noise on her chewing toy, watch the video, so funny!

4 Months old!

Man she is growing like a weed! She is already 16.7 lbs which puts her in the 90-95 percentile for weight and she is 25 inches long which puts her in the 50-75 percentile for height. She is reaching so many milestones so quickly! She can keep her head flat with her body when you pull her to sitting instead of letting it hang backwards, she is holding all of her body weight on her legs with us just holding her hands, she does baby talk all day long, she lifts her chest off the ground when on her tummy, she rolls over from her tummy to her back, she slept through the night on August 7th and for two more nights after that, she grabs toys that are held in front of her, and best of all she just started to eat rice cereal!! And all this happened in almost a weeks time, Man!! What a grown up girl she is getting to be! It's just amazing!

Uh Oh, here's trouble!! Already learning to pull Porscha's Tail!

I got her one of those jumpers that you hang on a door way and she loves it! Here are a few pictures from her playing around in it:

We have been working on our new house every weekend and it's looking really good! Her room is almost complete! I love the way it turned out:

Rolling..Rolling..Rolling..

Today Addison rolled over from her tummy to her back! I couldn't believe it! Unfortunately she hates to be on her stomach so we don't do as much tummy time as we should. I put her on her tummy just to see if she could lift her chest off the floor yet and out of nowhere she rolled! At first I didn't even realize what she did; she did it two more times and then had about enough of it and started screaming. Oh well at least she did it, my big grown girl!!

We got it on Kyle's phone so the picture isn't the best but... Here is the adorable little girl having a good old time!!(sorry about the picture quality)

3 Months Old!!!!

Wowza! Time couldn't go by any faster! Addison had her 3 month birthday yesterday, she spent the day with my mom so Kyle and I could go to our new house and make it pretty for her! She is really making strides in her development! She smiles all the time and even lets out a squeal when she gets really happy. All she seems to want to do is stand up (with a little assistance) which she really does well at. Her legs are so strong she even scoots herself up on her changing pad. She has been reaching for her toys and her favorite thing to do it stare at the fans in the house! She cries when they are not spinning and as soon as you turn in on she smiles. She gets a kick out of playing Patty Cake with her Grandpa T (Kyle's dad) and tries to imitate my dad when he does his signature tounge trick. The best thing is that she has finally started to sleep through the night! She falls asleep around 9-9:30pm and will wake up around 5-6am to eat. At that point she is up for an hour or two, which is way to early for me to be up, but she will fall back asleep after that for a few more hours! So nice!

We have spent the last two weeks at our new house doing renovations so we can move in! She usually tags along and is such a good girl and has learned how to entertain herself pretty well when Mommy and Daddy are hard at work. Our house is really coming along. Almost all the walls are painted, new fixtures have been installed, our friend Garrett has installed can lighting in our kitchen (yay no more florescent lights!) and retextured our walls in the nessesary places, all the windows have white faux wood blinds, the guest bath has brand new cabinets-sink-vanity mirror-and more. We still need to finish the kitchen which is getting the biggest overhaul. I am so happy with all the work and need to give a huge thanks to Terry and Dolores who have been there everyday painting like crazy and helping in all the other areas. Also thanks to my dad who was able to make it over to help over the weekend to help and to my mom who watched Addi all day yesterday.
