Uh OH! I am such a slacker!
This is where I am going to do a quick run through of the last 6 months! I have been terrible at updating on here (slap on my wrist). My best friend Kristin gave me a talking to and asked me to update. So Kristin, this is for you :)
October 2010: Had a block party on my Parents street and also did our trick or treating there too!

November 2010: Thanksgiving at my Parents house and Decorating for Christmas!

...and she we updated her Crib to a Big Girl BED!! What a life saver that was, all of the sudden we switch her bed and she starts going to bed at 7:30 (normally 9pm) and sleeping through the night!!! (FINALLY!!!)

December 2010: My First Annual Christmas Story time and Christmas with our families!

Christmas Morning and our house:

She was thrilled to get EVERYTHING! She got the Kitchen, a Big Girl Potty, A Potty Training Elmo, A Hot Wheels Race Track with Cars, A fold out Mickey Mouse Couch/Bed, and much much more!
Christmas evening at my Parents House:

Amongst a ton of other things she got from my Parents was a Shopping Cart, Art Easel, Minnie Mouse Lamp, Mickey Christmas Light, and I could go on for days:)
Christmas with Natalie and Dennie the day after Christmas:

There she got a Tee Ball set, Lego Duplo's, and a ton of Snow Clothes which came in handy since it was her first visit to see SNOW!

We also had a wonderful Christmas Dinner with Terry and Dolores and some of her Family:

She received a ton of awesome Minnie and Mickey Mouse toys and a Zoo toy and few beautiful outfits! MAN OH MAN do we have a spoiled little girl or what!!?
..........And then came 2011!!
On January 17th Addison had her first haircut, I know what you are thinking, she barely has hair!! Well it was short in the front and long in the back and this Mullet that had formed had to go! We took her to Snip its in Chandler and plopped her down in an adorable little salon chair. This place had toys and amazing things to look at all over the place! The stylist gave her a lollipop (which she calls a Pop Pop) and began to snip away at her adorable curls. The Lollipop was Genius!! She barely moved the entire cut! The lady did a wonderful job of removing the mullet and gave her a bunch of scrunchy curls and a hair bow! What a big girl! So Proud!

She is growing like a weed! About 28lbs and very tall and skinny! She is a little toddler now and no longer my little baby:( She talks all the time and says the cutest things ever! We have had many play dates with friends and their kids and plenty of trips to the zoo:)
So now are you happy Kristin? This took me over an hour!!!!! Hahaha! Thanks for making me do this, I loved remembering all these things even though the didn't happen that long ago. I promise to never wait this long between posts again:)

Zoo Fun!
We got to go to the Zoo yesterday. Thanks to our neighbor Ruthann who is a member of the Zoo and gets friends in for free. We had a great time, but unfortunately, it was super hot out (AZ, who would have thought :) ?) I assumed that since it was starting to cool off the week before that it would last. Silly me, you would think that I would know that it wouldn't stick around seeing that I have lived here my entire life! Ha ha, oh well. We went nice and early but it didn't help. We did get to see the monkey village, which was great since Addi really seems to like them. We also went over to the Tot's Farm playground and let the kids get some energy out and pet some goats. The best part was probably the fact that they still have their Splash Lagoons running, so we let the kids cool off and play in the water. As we were leaving I was putting everything in the trunk and all my stuff fell out of the little compartment in the top. I swiped everything up really fast so I could get in the AC, not realizing that my cell phone had also fallen out! I sped off and took Addi home for a nap which was so easy since she had passed out before we even left the parking lot. I suddenly got a panicked feeling while rustling through my bag looking for my "new" cell phone. OH NO! It was in the stroller! With Addi asleep I couldn't run back to the Zoo and I obviously had no phone to call Kyle. What a predicament! I remembered that you could send text messages from the Verizon website, so I raced to the computer, sent Kyle a message asking him to call it and pray that someone would hear it. Thankfully someone had already found it and gave it to lost and found, who called Kyle and he was already on his was to pick it up. All I had to do was pray that I didn't drive over it as I left and that is wasn't squashed or totally scratched up. Kyle came home and it had only suffered a ding on the bottom. How lucky was that! Crazy morning, that was for sure!
