So since I am still on bed rest I have been trying to waste the time with projects. My mom suggested knitting so I thought, "What the heck, I'll give it a try!" So for the past few days that's what I have been trying to do. The first project, a scarf, was a total bust! I gave up after way too many mistakes and gave it to my dog Jane to play with. The next attempt is a baby blanket, which is shockingly going really well! As I promised those few people who are doubting my skills here are pictures to prove it! I apologize for the way I look in the pictures, but seriously, who wants to get all dolled up to sit in bed or on the couch all day long. My hair is a mess and I look like a whale! I am also about to start a scrapbook for the Addison. I figure I have all the time to do it now since I will have no time afterward! Anybody have any other suggestions? TV, movies and video games are just not cutting it anymore!

Oh, Sweetheart! I am so sorry to hear that you are on bedrest! I was with my daughter, Madelyn, for 7 weeks. It was the hardest thing to do! I am a "goer" and I like to be up and busy so staying in bed was difficult and stressful. I am so sorry that you have to go through the same thing; I would not wish it on anyone! Be positive, your Sunshine will be here before you know it and you will be thankful you did everything you could to keep her safe... Maddie was in the NICU and I couldn't help but blame myself for not being as strict with bedrest, or pleading for her to come early. Just do your best... Oh and something you might like?? Decoupage... I'm obsessed! Much love, Chellie
